A failing warrior.

I wish the narrator just kept to her usual voice for every character. her male characters just sounded weird which was distracting. but overall I lived the book.

loved the story. exciting and beautiful!

I loved everything about the story. The plot, worldbuilding (it’s so good), the romance is all great. The romance is slow burn and stays clean.

The narrator is really good, especially with the main characters. I thought on a couple of the side characters she sounded a bit monotone. I tried changing the speed but I couldn’t found the perfect speed for the side character without messing up the main characters, but I still enjoyed her narration for the most part.

Content: clean, no spice, no swearing

Really fun action adventure with a slow burn, clean romance. Well developed story with cool twists! Definitely recommend if you love fantasy adventure / coming into your purpose type of stories!

I liked the action and the plot and the fact that the romance wasn’t suffocating. The reader did a great job with both male and female characters.

Fast paced

Someone please tell her that speaking more slowly does not make the lowest tone she can voice sound more masculine - especially when she does the same thing for multiple male characters.

I finally got so irritated I had to quit listening. I’m very glad that I didn’t waste a credit, but I’m sorry that I couldn’t really determine whether the author is one I want to keep an eye on.

The story was awesome. I enjoyed it. The narrator wasn't especially when she tried to read different voice it was like hearing a machine and not a very good one.

unfortunately what stood out most was the robotic narrator.
