The narrator brings the story to life.

Rebecca and Zaid had a relationship in the past and now she is in his country and is determined to help the poorest people there. He discovers that he has a son and they must now fight for their lives and freedom. Good Narration. Nicholas did a wonderful job narrating this story. I loved how he brought the suspense and terror and love to life as he read. Zaid and Rebecca had a bit of an off beat start to their relationship, but I loved it. They may have done things a little backwards in building their life together, but it really works for them. I love how everything ended up working towards a really sweet happily ever after.

This book contains spoilers for the first 2 books so if you plan to read them all it's best to read them in order. However if could also be read as a standalone book.

There's quite a bit packed into this book with lots of romance and hot intimate fun going on as well as intrigue with terrorism and attempted murder going on.

I liked Ziad a lot, despite being a Sheikh he was capable of admitting when he was wrong and this is an extremely attractive character. He also consistently demonstrated how much he cares for the people he rules and that he considers their best interests.

The relationship between Ziad and Rebecca was very hot, there was an instant re-ignition of chemistry between them and it was very enjoyable.

The narration was very well done, excellent character voices and a lovely smooth delivery that matched the tone of the story nicely.

A great end to the series

This is #3 of the Sharjah Sheikhs Series.

HEA, NO cheating, NO cliffhangers!

Even though these are listed as being able to be read as standalones, they are connected by characters. I always advise to read in order to get the most out of the experience.

♥ Story ♥

This is the last book in the Sharjah Sheikhs Series. Last but not least to the table is middle brother Zaid. Lucky for him, the precedent for choosing your own bride has already been set! The Sheikh's Secret Son ebook is part of the Kindle Unlimited program.

Sheikh Zaid Al-Qasimi has a secret past that has secrets of its own! He never forgot his affair with the beautiful American five years ago, however time and circumstance made it practically impossible for them to have more. He is surprised but happy to see her in the palace with the diplomatic tour. Zaid's attempts to pick-up where they left off falls flat, and it doesn't take too long for him to find out why.

Rebecca Reid had a wondrously short affair with a sexy Sheikh, 5 years ago! She finds him hard to forget, especially when she sees his eyes every night when she reads them a bedtime story. She has a political agenda of her own, but it doesn't include letting Zaid know of his son! Pretty F*d up considering how much of a brat she is to him when she first gets there. You know what they say about assuming?! Donkey City!

Despite the rough start to their reunion, they eventually work it out, that they are on the same team. They have to rally if they want to save Zaid's people and economy as well their son. Lots of good plot twists to close out the series! The last few paragraphs of the story are the BEST! Even though I wanted to slap Rebecca in the back of the head a couple of times for being so rude, this is still my ♥ Favorite ♥ of the three! Lots of heart!

Leslie North loves her Sheikhs, and I am perfectly good with that! This was a very satisfying set of brothers. Sharjah Sheikhs: The Complete Series was released in March, so makes it a Definite TODO buy/credit choice!

♥ Narrator ♥

The only bad thing I can say about Nicholas Thurkettle's performance is that its over. Luckily he also narrates the Adjalane Sheikhs Series! Nicholas does sexy Sheikhs oh so good!

♥ Audio Production ♥

I forgot to change my speed back to 1 after my last audiobook, (so wished it reset automatically if you are starting at page one). I ended up listening at 0.95 speed, which sounded fine.
Don't be afraid to experiment.

I’m well familiar with this great author. I always enjoy her fun stories and this one is no exception. The characters are likable and the story well written.

Narration was excellent and brought the story to life.

The story is about second chances. The main characters had met 5 years before and after a brief romance they went their separate ways. This is a stand-alone book although it is book 3 in this series. You cannot go wrong with this talented author.

Great Contemporary Romance

This is the first audiobook by this author that I have listened to and I really enjoyed it. It did seem to move a little slow at first, but rapidly became more involved and engaging. The hero and heroine had met years before and had a brief affair, leaving her with a son he knew nothing about. She has returned to his country on a diplomatic mission and they soon become involved again. He finds out about his son and has him brought to the country, but there are sinister forces at work that they uncover together. Narration was well done.

This was a sweet 2nd chance romance. Timing wasn't right the 1st time around but love will not be stopped when it is meant to be. These two characters are soo sweet together. You can't help but root for their HEA.

Narration was great!

I came into this series on book 3- It is a standalone but i would love to go back and read earlier books in the series.

This was a nice romantic story. I’m glad there was an Epilogue. The story was good I do wish there was more sex tho:) the narrator did a great job.
