First of all, Katie Villa’s narration performances ALWAYS deliver! Her voice is soothing and wonderful, and her narration of this book was excellent! Additionally, I love Shalini Boland’s work, and I have listened to pretty much all of her work that is available on Audible. That being said, this particular book left something to be desired. I was shocked when the book was over! I kept thinking that some chapters were accidentally skipped or something, but I was wrong. It felt like the story was rushed and the ending was rushed as well. There could have been much more character development and backstory in this book that was completely left out. Typically, with Shalini Boland’s work, I am left feeling fulfilled and satisfied, but this book left me feeling underwhelmed.

It’s hard to dislike a book, and I’m easily entertained. However, I’m left frustrated and aggravated with myself for continuing to listen. I wanted to slap the mealy-mouthed heroine (if that’s what you want to call her). She jumps in and out of relationships like I change my underwear. Shallow characters and weak, unbelievable story line. Narrator did well though. Kept me listening.

The storyline was good and it had a backbone but it got very repetitive. Performance was great!

I found this to be very slow and quite predictable. The twist at the end saved it, but it wasn’t as big of a shocker as I was anticipating.

8 hour read... to be slapped with an epilogue insufficient for satiety. Overall, this isn't one I'd read again.

I have read alot of this Authors books. This one did not disappoint . Its fast moving so I did rewind if my thoughts drifted a second.
Thats why I love a little rewind as needed.
Highly recommend.

While the voices the narrator used were undistinguishable at times, I found this one to capture my attention. well written with good strong characters.

Ms. Boland proves yet again why she’s one of the best. This was by far my favorite read this year, beating out BA Paris - The Guest. I loved all the characters and the way the author loves to keep you guessing …. UNTIL THE VERY LAST SECOND. 10 Stars from me
