I thought I loved book 1 but book 2 was better.. I don't know how Swan can out do herself from here...this book is 12 hrs long.. 4 hrs in the leads are heavily invested in forever but just didn't realize it at the time.. I had a moment where I thought "how the hell is she going to fill in the remaining time and not make it all about sex?" .. I kept listening and it was a magical ride... Claire's kids were the definition of trouble and it was hilarious. Her kids meeting Tristan for the first time had my jaw dropping and I totally understood when he took off for the hills. But as the days and the dynamics btwn all of them unravelled I absolutely loved Tristan. I yelled when Claire closed off towards the end but again I have never lost a husband or had to run small business by myself so who am I to judge her reaction?

Enough of my rant.. the narration is perfect. The story is captivating. If you don't have credit buy it.. enough said.

The first time the reader said “sexily”, as in “He smiled sexily at her…” I said, “Not a word.” without thinking. The 10th time I heard it I looked it up, and it is slang. So, okay it’s a word. I stand corrected. It’s a stupid word, and its a word that has plenty of synonyms. Please, use your thesaurus. I can’t. Someone “smiled sexily” literally dozens of times in these two books. Other than that one thing, these are good books and I was hooked on the interesting stories, characters, and enjoyed the voice actors. (SebYo is consistently great and never takes me out of the story with bizarre choices. He’s a pro.)

This book had everything and I couldn't stop listening and had to hold in my cries of laughter at 2 am so I didn't wake my husband. I look forward to listening to the other books. It was a wonderful story and the narration was perfect.

Another great story by T L such an amazing ride.

The miles brothers are one hot bunch!

This story had me laughing, crying and swooning all at the same time. The entire time you are wondering where this story will go it is definitely not your typical romance so just download this book NOW!!!

All of the tension was so natural. I wasn't once mad at the characters for being stupid. They were authentic and well developed.

I absolutely love this book. Read the stopover first and loved that but this one is def my fav. Loved the audible version too!! All around 5 stars

I absolutely love this book and its characters! CJ Bloom and Sebastian York are phenomenal in their portrayals of Claire and Tristan. I was crying I was laughing so hard in some of the "family" scenes and in tears if sadness when Claire is struggling with honoring her dead husband and loving Tristan. Just a great, fun, romantic read.

I literally laughed out loud throughout this entire book. The story portrayed is one of loss and grief, but also of rebirth and astounding connections that singe your heart they burn so bright. Not to mention the chemistry that is off the charts. The audiobook gives you new reasons to swoon over the amazing characters. Very good!

this book has something for everyone. the second half of the book made my heart ache, but it comes with a happy ending. Trigger: if you are a widow, this may be hard to read, the MC is a widow.
