I absolutely loved the story, with all the trial, worries, and facing danger, and Jesus always carries us through to the other side, He never promised an easy life, we have to pick up our cross and follow Him as His Burden is light

I always enjoy Colleen’s books and how I feel a part of the community she sets the stories in. I am from the pacific northwest and just want to say we have our share of uniquely pronounced Native American words. That being said, If this is ever re-recorded, Sequim is pronounced “SQUIM” not “C-quim “.

Great book by Coble! While this is#1 in the series, it made me want the other books right now!!

Predictable yet still fantastic

Great plot with well developed characters. The narration for the main character came across as whining sometimes in the audible version of the book. Otherwise, highly recommend the book.

I could not put this book down. It always kept me guessing .Never a dull moment. The narrator is awesome and very good change over to each person. The truth about God and his word through out the story so effortlessly and always in the right places .I really felt that I was right there watching it all play out right in front of me.
Thank you for taking me away for a few hours.
Will definitely be listening to more of Ms.Coble and Devon Day
another favorite author .The only thing that would make this book better is if I had the hard back and cd for my collection.Eccelent book and presentation.

I'm not a religious person but love all the books I have read by Colleen Coble. Great story lines. She makes it so you want to keep reading. What I like the most is that there are no sex scenes. Can't stand that every other book you read HAS to have sex scenes. Thank you for all the work you do Colleen.
