But when what was supposed to be a game turns into a real-life murder mystery, can Toby and Ivy crack the case?

Loved this middle grade mystery! Expertly plotted, with a wonderful cast of characters and plenty of humor. The narrator was excellent as well—great voices for different characters.

I LOVE this book! I have listened to this a thousand times! I enjoy listening to it when I go to sleep because I know it’s in and outs! I really suggest this book! The narrator was the PERFECT voice for this wonder book!
Just a word of warning: there is death but not in great detail! :)

I loved Toby and Ivey so much! They play off each other well and all the different characters are so unique. I’d love to have stories about each of them and how they became detectives.

This story is an easy listen. Family/ work safe and heart warming.

This was a very interesting book. Really exciting and I enjoyed it a lot. It does say a few bad words and it’s a little to scary for kids 8 and down.

Our 11 and 13yr old enjoyed this story. We’ve read Caroline Carlson’s pirate series (highly recommend those Audibles) and this story does not disappoint with enough twists to keep the older children entertained.

This is such a terrific book, introducing middle graders to the world of Agatha Christie’s Poirot and Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes. Toby and Ivy are excellent young sleuths, meeting each plot twist and turn with humor and determination. Adults will love the book, too!
