It's been three years since a global pandemic decimated the earth's population. The conflicts that continue to rage in its aftermath threaten to tear apart two diverse societies living in Appalachia. I’ve reached the end of the series and I’m sad. I get to really know the characters and become invested in their plights. The narrator was fantastic and I’m quite particular about the narration, it can make or break a book.

I breezed through this series due to the well written characters and overall story telling. The narrator was very adept at voicing individuals and made it easy to determine who was speaking. I can highly recommend the entire series Troop of Shadows.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and hope others do as well. The sound quality of the first book was sketchy, but all the rest were great.

What a great post apocalyptic series with a twist. I absolutely fell in love with each character, Fergus being a favorite. The book was so well written and it had a bit of everything. I definitely recommend this series !!
