In 1953, a mother's routine drive home is transformed into a time-travel odyssey when the light from a mysterious spacecraft hurls her and her car to 2023, setting in motion a series of extraordinary events and a life-and-death decision.

On a serene night in 1953, Sally Mason, a dedicated wife and mother of two, drives a twisting road on her way home from night school. Suddenly, a mysterious bluish-white light descends over the road.

Terrified, Sally slams on the brakes. After a flash of bright light nearly blinds her, she passes out, awakening to the persistent knock of a police officer on her car window. When she sees the officer and remembers her frightening experience, she screams and faints, and is rushed to the hospital.

What Sally does not know, and what the police eventually and reluctantly conclude, is that Sally and her car have been hurled ahead in time from 1953 to 2023.

Driven by the urgency to reunite with her children, Sally is forced to confront the reason for her time leap journey and to grapple with a life-and-death decision.

My husband gifted me with this book on audible and I'm so happy he did. I really enjoyed the story. I fell in love with the main character, and the other characters were well done also. I found it exciting and a little bit romantic, with the right mix of human emotions and science.

This was an unusual type of book for me, but I liked it. It’s on the lighter side, but has great characters with good story.

These days too many authors tries so hard to over spin a story, tying to hard to surprise and shock us readers. This simple story was little different in a good way. Glad I brought it.

A beautiful simple story

I paid $2.99 for this delightful story. I don't normally review stories, but this one deserves to be read/heard. I will say that the "sci-fi" is simplistic and a bit corny. You get to know characters that appear and then never show again. And it's overcomplicated. But it was very enjoyable. The narrator is excellent, the protagonist is easy to identify and empathize with, and there is a happy ending for everyone. Even the aliens. Give it a chance.

This was a pretty cute story. Not much brain strain. Good pallet cleanser after a heavy book. I liked the characters for the most part. Had some interesting takes on time travel, alien races, and the space time continuum... but nothing too abstract or hard to grasp. I could see this as a netflix movie or limited series.

Once I started I couldn't stop. Listened all night napped then started again. I'm new to this author & narrator and now a fan. Great characters and of course we all know the government is holding aliens 👽 🤣 definitely credit worthy. Enjoy!👽🛸

This book had an interesting premise, but the execution was often clunky and the text inelegant. It would have benefitted from proper editing. I have decided I need to get better at spotting self-published novels vs. conventionally published works. I absolutely do support the independent spirit, but honestly, I feel disappointed more often than not when I go this route.

I liked the original storyline. I didn’t like how the main character was encouraged to start a new life and fall in love and remarry. It was presented as the ultimate goal she could achieve. It felt stilted and inauthentic.
