Wäre da nicht die bildschöne Millionenerbin Linnet Ridgeway, deren Hochzeitsreise auf dem Schiff mit dem Tod endet. Als der belgische Meisterdetektiv die Ermittlungen aufnimmt, sticht er damit in ein "Wespennest", denn nahezu jeder der Mitreisenden hat ein Tatmotiv.

Thia abridged audio is a good fit for my schoolgirl German, especially since "Death on the Nile" is my favorite Agatha Christie, and I know the story almost by heart. For those not familiar with it, this short version is perhaps a bit too packed with characters and action; four hours might be a better length than three.
The actor/reader is very good; I can't believe all those different voices are his. However he misspeaks in chapter 21; there are two Otterbourne characters; it is Miss, not Mrs, Otterbourne who is seen throwing something overboard.

A little too much has been edited out of the novel
