Overall I enjoyed this book. The story and backstories were well written and flowed seamlessly. The narration was acceptable. I’ve always enjoyed Aiden Snow and this one was no different. But why was Cindy Kay whispering the whole time?? I kept having to adjust my volume from one narrator to the other. Spice was good and while the plot was predictable, the characters were intriguing. Now on my way to start the second in this series!!

I didn’t really like either of the main characters but the end, but especially the main male love interest. Leander more towards toxic than kink for me in the end and I had a hard time getting behind it. The spicy scenes were good, but couldn’t really pull fully for the couple.

I have never been an audio book girlie, I'm more of a podcast stan since audio books are often disappointing compared to the amazing written words. Most of the books I've tried to listen to were cringey with one voice actor doing the voice for all characters (even the deep country mmc). I loved reading this book during my Christmas break but having to get back to regular life, I decided to give the audio book a try, at least so I could get to the ending sooner. I was surprised to hear TWO different voice actors for each POV and the side characters still got unique voices. The *spicy* scenes weren't degraded by listening out loud and the ending felt MORE TENSE when hearing it aloud!

This wasn't a bad read at all, covered a couple of troupes Brothers Best Friend, Enemy to Lovers. You have to get used to the female narrator but once you do she isn't as bad a some of the reviews. This had a good story line and character development.

This book had amazing reviews on TikTok and I’m pretty shocked by that. The story was pretty average. The reason for the subpar rating was for the female narrators voice- it was definitely hard to get used to

Don’t understand the hype

I started with book 4 & I was hooked. The story is so steamy & raw. It’s hard to put the book down.

Must Read Series

Loved the story line and the characters, but the female narrator was hard to listen to especially when she tried to do voices for the male character almost had to DNF a couple of times because it was so cringey.
