Enjoyable story with history, intrigue, faith and romance. There were a few times it dragged, but overall it held my interest.

I loved this book portraying love for God and others in war.
I wanted the end to be Gabby and David's reunion and the tying up of AnnMarie with her daughter.
Otherwise totally loved this book!!!!

The story is too predictable. Kirsten Potter's narration is the only reason I stayed to the finish

This is probably my favorite book of all time. Faith, romance, war, spies, and fascinating history all intertwined into a story I could read over and over, if only I had the time! I love this audio version because it’s read with perfect emotion and character voices, and I can listen to it while I work and clean!
C’est probablement mon livre préféré de tous les temps. La foi, la romance, la guerre, les espions, et une histoire fascinante, tous entrelacés dans une intrigue que je pourrais lire encore et encore, si seulement j’avais le temps! J’aime bien cette version audio car elle est lue avec émotion et les voix parfaites des personnages, et je peux l’écouter pendant que je travaille et nettoie!
