The blood witch has changed everything.
Chen traveled to the US with his clan, hoping to rescue his kidnapped brother from the fae. They just need a witch to find the exact location of where the door between the human world and the fae world will open—the one thing Moon can't do. Chen grabbed the wrong type of witch.

Two Thousand Dreams is the first novel in the Kings of Chaos series, which is a spin-off from the Lords of Discord series. This book contains one very grumpy vampire falling in love with a very perky blood witch, shifters, overprotective witches, other non-human surprises, snark, angst, found family, brotherly bickering, magic, chaos, vampire cuddles, and an endless love that grows stronger with each kiss.

This time we have the sweetest most honorable but dangerous vampires, we are talking 2000 year old vampires!
Chen -a serious vampire looking for one of his clan members that was kidnapped by the fae- meets his sunshine match on Moon. What started as a hero/kidnapper scene ends in Moon committing to help this clan save their friend.
The HEAT! Woo! Chen is HOT!
I also cried, cringed, laughed, and smiled uncontrollably.
We also get to see the Variks and our favorite witches! So all around amazingness!
Do you need to read the Lords of Discord series? No. Would it be great if you do? Yes. Although I highly suggest reading How the Necromancer in the Gold Vest Saved My Life: Disaster #1-4.

First, we have a pet peeve of mine: insta-lust. Also, the side characters are one-dimensional, there's really no plot to speak of except what's in between the 2 MCs falling in love. Outside of that it's pretty much all internal monologuing about how it's "too soon" for the MMCs to be in love and 3/4ths of the way through I really don't care what happens.
Bottom line: if you prefer real character development with well-placed romance and sexy times when it's called for in between a real plot and well-developed side characters, skip this one!
