I didn't realize that I'd never listened to this series. I'm a HUGE fan of Mr. Preston. I liked the content, I liked the characters. I did NOT like the narrator. It was actually like he was just reading the book, not NARRATING it.

I love both Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child books. If you like this, continue on to Wyman Ford series #2, it’s also good.

Started off quick and pulls you into what's going on. I feel a bit educated after each of Preston's books!

Interesting story line with enough twists & turns to hold your attention all the way through, though you could see a few of them coming from a mile away. The characters are very believable & I will definitely listen to more books by this author. For me, this is a straight ahead action/adventure & I was a little hard pressed to see why Audible includes this title under Science Fiction. Either way, a good read.

Excellent read. Made me want to stay in the car to finish the book, not easy to do for someone who is on the road as much as I am.

This was a surprise. A nice twist on the treasure hunt / pirate genre. Definitely one of Douglas Preston's best efforts.
