this feels like a great part 1 of the middle arc for the story
some parts dragged a bit, but never so much that i wanted to skip ahead
it's more of what we like with new mechanics and a mostly new cast

The narrator performance is top notch as always and the story is nearing it's conclusion. I just hope it doesn't take another year to get the final book!

if you've been following this series you pretty much know what to expect.
There are a couple of twists and turns that may surprise you.
Overall, a great read/listen.
I'm giving this book 6.5 out of 5 stars.

I've enjoyed this as a light read and have enjoyed the progressive but this one felt a little more juvenile to me. An odd quirk on this but I feel like there's been some regression and it just grated on me. Otherwise I can't wait for the final title.
My only complaint is again on the narrator, Erica Mairy. I would greatly appreciate if she could work on her s's and de-ess the recording otherwise. I really have to modify the EQ so the s's don't hurt my ears, it's just bad and hadn't improved over the last five books.
