Acerca de esta escucha

The Dragon Heart has come of age and sets off with his Ulfheonar to fight the Saxons. A chance visit to a cave brings him face to face with his past and changes his life forever. Fighting both Saxons and Hibernians on land and on sea, he and his warriors conquer the land of Anglesey. Before they can enjoy the fruits of victory, they face an enemy from the past who returns to haunt them.

This is a fast moving audiobook filled with action and battles evoking the time of the Vikings.

I always enjoy Griff Hosker's work especially when performed by Marston York. His choice of accents makes the book come alive.

Another good book and great performance!

Hooked on the series. Griff Hosker is now one of my favorite authors. I’m a big fan of Giles Kristian and I’ve been searching for an author, like him, who is able to keep me entertained for the entirety of the story. I have found him. Thank you. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series. Also, the narrator, Marston York, Wow. 👏👏

Bravo

To me it feels like this story should’ve ended in the last book. This one doesn’t have the feel of the other books and gets into the realm of King Arthur. I’ve noticed a few continuity mistakes and a lot of the battles seem to follow the same exact formula. Don’t get me wrong it’s a decent read, but when I say it has jumped the shark, I mean that it’s gotten away from the story of the other books and gotten more mystical, for lack of a better word.

This one jumped the shark IMO

Kinda ok story but the author is constantly out on thin limbs like saying norwegians have never seen such a thing as a sandy beach at home. In order to make his narrative work. He constantly simply makes stuff up. When he has written himself into yet another hole. I was less and less invested in the story after every book. In the start they where doing interresting stuff but after a while the story has become not much more than countless similar small skirmishes that all play out the same. And the only way the writer seems to know how to put stakes into the tale. Is to come up with increasingly ludicrous reasons for why our heroes need to go into battle with so few people.

The author thinks there is no sand in norway...
