Story was not realistic in the way they would’ve needed food, water, rest, and shelter, but it was fun in the way that they would stop and tell every dog cat an animal person and child. Upbeat story. Thumbs down on virtual reader.

I really enjoyed this book! The action starts at the beginning and doesn’t stop until the end. The characters were well developed and believable.

I enjoyed the story, however I did not like the "virtual voice". I like when real readers do different voices and better inflection on the exciting parts. I hope audiobooks will NOT be narrated this was in the future.

I listened to the audio and it used a computer generated voice didn’t. Are for the voice at first but the story was good and I figured I’d manage listening.

Different and very probable

I had already decided to never buy a book narrated by AI, but out of curiosity and considering this book was free, I figured I'd give it a listen. It 100% reaffirmed my decision. The story maybe could have been good, I'll never know because I'll never finish it. While it didn't sound like robotic narration, you could still easily tell it was. The inaccurate pauses and run-ons, the mispronounced words and just a plain lack of human feeling ruined the whole thing. I laughed out loud the first time I heard it read "Ford F one hundred and fifty" instead of a Ford F one fifty like any living narrator would know to say. Unfortunately it kept repeating that, and it became less funny and more annoying really quickly. Audible, PLEASE don't screw this up. Stop using virtual voice. No matter how good it gets, audiobooks will never be the same if the human essence is removed.
