An emotional and hauntingly honest romance about a broken man who doesn't believe he deserves love and a woman determined to prove him wrong.

Blake Carson can't afford to have a life. Between working full-time as a tattoo artist and caring for his disabled twin brother Jacob, his plate is more than full—and he prefers it that way.

His meticulous planning is turned on its head when he meets the upbeat and beautiful Audrey Wright and her butterfly tattoo. Now, through a complicated maze of coincidence and fate, Blake begins to question if maybe there could be more to his life than just work and Jacob. That is if the guilt doesn't eat him alive first.

With the help of Dr. Vanessa Travetti and a girl he doesn't think he deserves, can Blake convince himself that even the bad guy deserves a happy ending?

Includes a bonus epilogue.

How do you begin to review a book, when it feels like so much more than a story? I was immediately intrigued by the blurb for 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐞, especially when I saw the mention of the disabled twin brother. Something in me needed to read this book like never before. See, I was born 10 weeks prematurely with a twin brother and we both were on ventilators for weeks. I lived, but he didn’t. I ended up with Cerebral Palsy, a disability that affects my mobility and a major case of survivor’s guilt. So I had no idea that I would be able to relate so well with both Blake and Jake, and Audrey, too, in a way. This book just blew me away.

The romance is there, with the sizzling chemistry, soul deep connection, but it’s all the other layers that I don’t want to give away that make this book a life altering experience. It’s interwoven plot twists and signs, concepts of family and forgiveness of oneself and others, spirituality, and personal growth. As a reader, I felt every emotion possible while experiencing this story, the guilt, sorrow, angst, real tears, joy, love, hope. Everyone should read this book! It changed my life. It was the first book I’ve read by Kelsey Kingsley, and I haven’t looked back! I’ve devoured her backlist, grabbled every new release, and proudly joined her influencer team! Every book is an emotional journey that shouldn’t be missed!

It was an adjustment to listen to a single narrator again, since most newer books are done with two now, but Brad Warden did a great job with all the nuances of this complex story, especially given Jake’s circumstances

Amazing, heart-wrenching story! Good single narration

From beginning to end I was captured by Kelseys ability to weave a story that makes you cheer and jeer for her characters. They're real, relatable people. I loved reading the book and listening to it as an audiobook was even better. I look forward to more audiobooks from one of my favorite authors!

Such a cool story!

Great story!
I think I would’ve given it 5 stars if it not for the narration. I’m not a fan of one narrator reading for multiple characters (male and female).
But Blake and Audrey’s story was so incredible!
I literally had to pause it a few times when bombs were dropped. The way Kelsey pieced everything together in the end (and throughout) was genius.

Not a fan of single narration

While holding a nice premise for a redemption story, there were no believable characters here, and certainly not much to like about the those most in need of redemption. While the narration was very good, the constant onslaught of f* word derivatives got very tiresome.

Is anyone here real?
