But this isn't a game, and Drew and his friends have no idea what they’ve signed up for. Who is this girl and what's chasing after her? Are Drew and his friends really cut out to save the universe? Is this Drew's chance to escape the realities of his life, or will those realities follow him no matter what galaxy he's in? Great first book to hopefully many in this series. The sounds and music give it an excellent feel. The narrator is top notch . Can’t wait for book 2 of this series . They need to make a movie I need to see these characters come to life and the alien creatures etc .

This book had me opening up my audible app again and again. I couldn’t put it down. The storyline was driven by great character development. It had me thinking back to middle and high school summertime and all the mischief we caused. I could definitely relate a few of these characters to my child hood friends.

You quickly get invested in Drew’s world and don’t want to leave. Of course you want him to make different decisions time and again but that just hooks you more. He is flawed but you still root for him as an underdog and hope he figures it out.

I can’t wait for the next release!

Great Character Driven Storyline

Weird Space was a well told story about a group of middle school aged kid based in the 80’s/90’s. It brought me back to my childhood and I think it’s the perfect story for a parent to read to their kid. It’s a sci-fi book with the feelings of Harry Potter or The Goonies. Definitely recommend!
