My sister asked if this book had anything to do with being in the military and I said “no “ but I was wrong! It is for everyone especially people who have experienced trauma of any sort. I would call it a self help book but not sure the author would agree.

and being in a bad place, myself, this was comforting and I need to hear it again. Highly recommended to anyone searching for themselves or healing after narcissistic abuse.

I absolutely needed to read this book. I resonated with her message and this book gave me goosebumps numerous times. definitely worth the listen and the fact that she reads her own book...you can feel the emotion she was trying to portray. this book hit it out of the park.

This was a good novel. Overall, I appreciated the author's style, the stories she included in the book, and how beneficial it was for self-love and establishing a happy place within ourselves. It offers an alternative viewpoint on how to be kinder to ourselves while setting boundaries. I valued her knowledge and ability to convey her own experiences. Some of the information appeared repetitious near the end, but overall it was an excellent read. I recommend this book to anyone.

The way she broke up the different rooms and how we can go in and out of each room is simply amazing! Her voice and poetry is soothing while she helps you dig deep. I've already listened to certain sections a few times already. This will certainly be a book that I will return to many times.
