I read other reviews and thought this would be just a drag listen while I was driving, wrong, wrong, wrong. The actor reading actually acts while reading it. I came away impressed especially after some of the reviews. Sometimes it pays to go with your gut.

I enjoyed this book very much. Great writing & narration.

While the husband swap was a bit outlandish, the rest of the was fun and engaging. I loved that the heroine was a widow and single mother. It was easy to relate to why she went along with the changing events... she was a mother who was protecting her child's future. That is what I liked best. So much was realistic/ justified. What would you do for family?
The twin thing was terrific, too, and I came to like the nasty, misunderstood Duke overtime.

On to David's story next!

This was an original story with a very good plot. A few surprising twists mixed in made it really enjoyable. The narration was really good 😊

Is what a reader wants

The story was very good and the dialogue was excellent. Good plays on words. However, the narrator puts emphasis on the wrong words, ended each sentence as if it was a bullet point and sometimes forgot which character she was playing in delivering the dialogue. I would have enjoyed it much better with a better narrator.

I was surprised how much I rnjoyed this book. I loved the special ending! And it was free Can't go wrong w/this. Narrator was good but not as good as others. But still worth llistening! to!

I did not expect to like this book as much as I did, it is refreshingly different than other historical romances, a twist to it, that keeps the storyline interesting.
