John is an incredibly likable MMC, with honor, depth and grace. Catherine is equally lovely and together they are exceptionally good. One star off for anachronisms (mad does not mean angry in England!) . An exceptional narrator, too.

I loved this novel! It was sexy, interesting, emotional, mysterious, thrilling, heartbreaking and heartwarming!

The excellent narration makes this a great find! I am looking forward to more from this author!
