What a great story. Loved the journey. Amazing story even if you are not a Nuggets fan. What a success that may not have ever occurred. The growth to greatness was fantastic and engaging.

Nikola Jokic was already one of my top five all-time players and this book just furthered my respect & appreciation for him. Mike Singer did a great job showing the personal side of Jokic that we don't get to see. The book is very well written & laid out. I recommend the book for any basketball & NBA fan, but also for those who want to learn how to have a more calm & humble perspective on life.

Jokic is a Great Player & Person

Fun read with lots of great stories and super duper silly anecdotes. Wanted to just write “Good read,” but it said I have to type at least 15 words, so whatever.

Great anecdotes

Loved the passion the author displays for subject, and obvious knowledge… also a dry sense of humor

I loved little small bites that left you wanting more !

Great look at his life. Guy reading it should watch some basketball and learn how to pronounce their names.

Love it. Jokic is a basketball god

The background details about Nikola’s life growing up & his basketball journey shed light on what made him.

Meticulously researched.

Great insightful story about the upbringing of the Joker. It is amazing to see that family is what drives him and not public attention.

Amazing Joker!

Towards the end of the book, Jokic says in a press conference “My journey is…I’m not that interesting.” That’s how I felt listening to the book. But at least part of this is that most of his Jokic quotes seem to be from press conferences of him, teammates or opponents. It’s probably too early to write a biography of him. He sounds like a funny guy (though we only get a taste of it because people don’t want to get him in trouble and all these guys have been working with PR people since like 6th grade).

Also, the reader was terrible. I’m amazed that they get people who don’t ever watch the sport, so you get pronunciation like Steve Curry and Rudy Go-Burt. Do a google search
