Acerca de esta escucha

It's June 15, and Guy Burkhart wakes up screaming. It's not the first time he's woken up screaming. Nor is it the first June 15. Based on a story by Frederik Pohl, this episode of X Minus One originally aired on March 14, 1956.

X Minus One premiered in April 1955 on NBC and ran until January 1958. Like its predecessor series, Dimension X, X Minus One featured stories by the greatest names in modern science fiction: Ray Bradbury, Isaac Asimov, Robert Heinlein, Clifford Simak, Robert Bloch, and many more.

Reseñas de la Crítica

"[X Minus One] brought current SF to radio, providing adaptations of many excellent new stories and thus allowing the public to appreciate the best science fiction available at the time." (Michael Ashley, The Time Machines: The Story of the Science-Fiction Pulp Magazines)

What made the experience of listening to X Minus One the most enjoyable?

This is a great story by Frederick Pohl. Quite alot like Ground hog day.

What did you like best about this story?

The story is fresh and kept me guessing up until the end. Why did they keep reliving the same day all over again? Were they still human? What did the elevator ads have to do with the story?

Have you listened to any of the narrator’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Did not recognize any actors in this production.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When he finally discovers what happened and why. Oh my goodness!

Deja vu all over again!

If you read my review on Target One, sorry but this is the story I thought I was talking about. Target One was actual not very good. This is the one you want it is a classic
