Great book! I cried several times while his words healed my soul, so many things about childhood resonated. This is a great reading if you haven't healed childhood traumas or if you are new parent, or a parent...period! His voice is calming and the pace allows you to absorb the teachings, slow but sure. I will listen again!

this story makes me want to be a better parent. it reminds me of the love and logic series and I found many correlations between them. this was an excellent summary of Mr. Rogers' studies in child psychology and what we can do to help children grow in a healthy, loving, supportive environment.

It’s so good to hear him read it. It’s all simple stuff, but life is so simple and we complicate it. It’s soothing and enlightening.

I didn't know this was about raising children, and I personally have none to raise. However, the wisdom in Mr. Rogers' words about what we all need as we grow and how we relate to emotions and limitations in life is irreplaceable. Every person can benefit from this book by learning about how we can better care for ourselves, not just children

It’s Fred Rogers sooo of course listening to his soothing voice and understanding words of wisdom is lovely. Fairly short listen and I’d say helpful information for anyone who has a child, is around children, or wants to think about their own childhood in relation to who they are now. Definitely recommend :)
