This collection of short stories is great for kids and young adults. The stories all deal with many of the issues that they face today, from racism and bullying to self-esteem and identity. While some of the dialogue is a little forced in places, reminding me of cartoons from the 1980s, that same dialogue will also help the young reader understand some situations a little better, and that understanding will help them grow.

I also liked how the last short story served as a kind of epilogue, revisiting each previous story and expanding on it while also tying all the stories together with a little more strength than just "they all take place on Zypher." I do hope the author writes a full-length novel that takes place on Zypher. I think that would be fun to read.

Edit: I recently had the chance to listen to the audiobook of these short stories. First, it was great to revisit the stories. The narrator, Oliver Johnson, did a wonderful job. His narration was slightly different for each story, which made it easy to tell when one story ended and another began. After revisiting these stories, I am definitely hoping the author will write either more short stories or a longer single story within this world because it is definitely a world I would like to experience more of.
