This is the first story about one of our elders' position papers. Anna is joined by Megan Epperson Louderback, a Sycamore View member, to discuss Sycamore View's stance on divorce and remarriage. They discuss what it's like to attend a church as a divorced person. In 2028, Sycamore View Church will turn 50 years old, and we want to do this right. We want to use the next few years as a season of reflection and preparation: reflection concerning all God has done through this church and preparation for God’s future here. So we’re launching what we’re calling “50 for 50.”Telling fifty stories.Over fifty months.Celebrating fifty years. At the beginning of every month until the spring of 2028, we will release a new story celebrating events, ministries, people, and risks, all in attempt to honor ways God has shaped and formed this church.Sycamore View is a community church based in Memphis, Tennessee.
