Acerca de esta escucha
As we flow through April - this season of cleansing and clearing, where we let go of what we no longer need and create space for what nourishes and energizes us - I'm going to focus today on how travel can be a huge source of "ah ha" moments and realizations.
On episode #147 of the Habit Thrive Podcast, we're exploring how travel boosts gratitude for your life and your daily habits.
Of course, travel has an undeniable way of interrupting our patterns, whether we’re ready for it or not.
The simplest things shift:
- meals
- movement
- sleep
- what we watch on tv
- what we listen to
- what we read
But, whether for a month or a weekend, out of the city or out of the country, travel is an opportunity to find gratitude for habits, routines and experiences that we may not even notice otherwise.
In my own recent travels, I had many concepts arise that speak to this (But we're going to focus on 3):
1. How travel creates an opportunity to assess our habits and routines and shake out what really works for us on a daily basis.
2. How travel provides an opportunity for us to really tune in to our bodies and minds without the clutter of meal prep, laundry and putting out daily fires.
3. How there is a natural shift that happens in our body towards both gratitude for our travels and huge gratitude for our house and home.
Use your travel time to really listen:
What is your body telling you?
What habits are your heart missing?
What can you gently let go of, and what do you want to bring back with even more love and intention?
Love,
