Is socialism or communism still relevant today? Is it an outdated economic system? Has it’s past failures indicate socialism cannot be revived? These are some of the questions we are attempting to address in this episode.
In part one of this series, we want to analyze how capitalism is failing to deliver on its promises, the economic divide it created globally and its built-in inequality. We touch on the history of both socialism and capitalism, it’s origins, failures and the effects in the global economy.
In part two, we will look into potential solutions to some of the problems capitalism has created, and attempt to lay out the future and practicality of socialism through the democratization of our workplaces.
