Acerca de esta escucha
Austin Schoen is a Sports Chiropractor and Performance Coach that works to blend healthcare with performance in one succinct package. Austin is the founder and owner of Warrior Sports Wellness, an in-person clinic focused on performance care for elite athletes. He is also co-owner of Building A Fighter, an online education and training platform dedicated to elevating performance standards for combat athletes through education and systemization.
Since being in practice, Austin has worked with over 100 professional athletes in a variety of different sports. While combat sports is the primary emphasis, he has also worked with professional athletes from American football, track & field, golf, baseball, hockey, and soccer. In combat sports, he has run the performance training and healthcare for over 75 fight camps. Austin also served as the volunteer assistant wrestling coach for the Fight Ready pro-MMA team for 2 years.
Austin’s background allows him a unique perspective that lends to him being an ideal candidate to work with combat athletes. Having wrestled from the time he was 6 all the way through university, he has seen the performance side of combat sports at a high level. This experience combined with his education (a doctorate in chiropractic medicine, master’s in sports medicine, and is a certified strength & conditioning specialist) has allowed him to see the different gaps that needed to be filled in the current training paradigm.
