Acerca de esta escucha
In today's episode, I'm talking about a lesson from Ted Lasso on healing and holding two things at once. As humans, we REALLY struggle with duality in our culture. We've been conditioned to think that everything is either/or and not ever both/and.
It's crucial that you don't suppress your emotions, even when they feel uncomfortable. Those suppressed emotions won't just magically disappear! One of my favorite ways to work through this is using the “f- you and thank you" exercise. It's been incredibly helpful for me, and I have a feeling it will be for you, too!
If you're ready to learn more about this exercise and other tools OR you need someone to walk with you on your healing journey, I would love to support you in this way. You can join me and other amazing women in rural America in my 1:1 Good Movement Guidance - we're all healing and learning together!
In this episode, I cover:
- Why humans struggle with duality in our culture - especially with emotions
- Understanding that suppressed emotions don't just disappear
- Personal examples of how I've felt both "f- you" and "thank you" emotions
- How to use the "f- you and thank you" exercise in your own life
