Acerca de esta escucha
In today’s Rock Solid Devotional, we reflect on Psalm 84:10–12 and the deep truth that one day in God’s presence is better than a thousand elsewhere. Through practical questions often asked in counseling—about goals, values, and habits—we’re invited to take a hard look at whether our lives reflect what we truly value. Do our time and money point toward a life centered in God’s presence?
This devotional challenges us to move beyond superficial faith toward an intentional, intimate relationship with God. Just like Adam, Abraham, Moses, and the disciples, we are invited into daily friendship with the Creator. But are we really drawing near to Him? Or have we allowed routines and worldly pleasures to crowd Him out?
Psalm 84 reminds us of the joy and blessing that come with trusting in the Lord and being near to Him—more fulfilling than sin's fleeting pleasures or life’s temporary comforts.
Reflection Questions:
- What do your time and spending habits say about your values?
- Do you intentionally draw near to God every day—or just when it’s convenient?
- What pleasures might be drawing your heart away from intimacy with Him?
