Acerca de esta escucha
In today’s Rock Solid Devotional, we explore the raw honesty of the Apostle Paul in Romans 7:24–8:4. Despite his faith and commitment, Paul declares, "Wretched man that I am!"—a confession that echoes the struggle every believer faces. The war between the flesh and the Spirit is real, ongoing, and familiar to anyone walking with God.
Yet Paul doesn't stop at despair. He points us to the incredible truth: There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Salvation doesn't come from self-effort or moral performance, but from a Spirit-filled life made possible through Christ’s sacrifice. The key is not to fight sin with fleshly effort, but to surrender daily to the power of the Holy Spirit.
Whether you feel defeated or discouraged by your sin, this devotional is a powerful reminder that God’s mercy is new every morning—and His Spirit is more than enough to help us walk in freedom.
Reflection Questions:
- How do you respond when you feel the weight of your own sin?
- Are you trying to overcome your struggles in your own strength, or leaning on the Holy Spirit?
- What would it look like today to live in the freedom Christ has already won for you?
