  • Authentic Intuition: Confessions of a Former Catholic Turned Tarot Reader with Jes Wilson
    May 23 2025

In Episode 16 of Authentic with Marlowe Lenard, Marlowe welcomes Jessica Wilson, a business owner and hairstylist, to the podcast to discuss spirituality and tarot. Marlowe and Jes discuss the crucial role of intuition and self-awareness in navigating relationships, particularly in recognizing unhealthy patterns and fostering healthier connections. As Jes mentions, “I learned to reconnect to myself through heartbreak," and her interest in tarot grew after she was gifted a deck.

One key takeaway from the podcast is the importance of trusting your intuition. Jes recounts how they had a strong sense of what was happening in their relationships, even before she could articulate it. This innate ability to sense discrepancies and discomfort is a powerful tool in identifying when something is off in a relationship. Jes would tell her mothers she knew what would happen before it happened and was never surprised by situations. Growing up with a strong Catholic faith and routine, Jes was discouraged from speaking like that or sharing most of her intuitions because they were contrary to the teachings at church.

The episode also delves into the significance of recognizing that unhealthy patterns often stem from past experiences and familial dynamics. Jes is launching a program to help people recover from toxic romantic relationships with narcissists. Jes explains how people often unconsciously gravitate toward partners who remind them of their primary caregivers, leading to cycles of toxicity to remain close to what we know, whether that is healthy or unhealthy.

With her narcissist recovery program, spirituality, intuition, and business, Jes is holding space for people to express their feelings and experiences. Recognizing the value of having a space to openly share and process one's emotions, Jes is building upon that and creating a life that validates one's experiences and allows others to trust one's intuition. Self-awareness is a powerful tool in the journey toward authenticity with yourself and within your relationships with others.

  • Authentic Spirituality: A Journey Beyond Religion feat. Michael McAdams
    May 9 2025

Being authentic means acknowledging and accepting our beliefs, experiences, and feelings. In Episode 15 of Authentic with Marlowe Lenard, Marlowe speaks with Michael McAdams, an author and spiritual seeker, about how to cultivate spirituality.

Michael has a rich spiritual background rooted in the Pentecostal faith, which boasts a strict, literal interpretation of the Bible. As a child, despite his family's famous teachers and preachers, Michael would often question what he was reading in the Bible and how literal the descriptions of heaven and hell might be. Michael’s religious upbringing is starkly different from Marlowe’s; she was not traditionally baptized, and often confused her family members when she participated in communion.

Self-awareness is crucial in the quest for authenticity, especially when questioning or seeking organized religion and spirituality. People must understand that they have the free will to accept or reject guidance from the spiritual realm, and we won’t know whether you were “correct” until you crossover. This autonomy allows us to connect with their intuition, guidance from spirit teachers, or personal experiences.

In Episode 15 of Authentic with Marlowe Lenard, Marlowe shares how she has awakened and started writing, while in a semi-conscious state, to be surprised by what sentences were legible the next day. Michael shares how his mother would receive messages from her spirit guides, angels, or spiritual teachers with messages to share with the world.

Michael collected and co-authored a book with his late mother, Wilma Jean Jones, to share the insights and affirmations received from Wilma’s spiritual teachers. The book, An Angel Told Me So, reinforces the notion that we are not alone and we often have multiple spirit teachers that we can learn from.

By recognizing that spirituality can exist independently from religion, you will open yourself to a broader understanding of existence. Everyone has a purpose, and we don’t have to handle life alone; our spiritual teachers have been nudging and trying to get our attention. Sit down, be still. It’s safe here.

  • What Do You Want? How to Be Honest and Authentic while Dating
    Apr 25 2025

With infinite possibilities in dating and love, Marlowe Lenard is learning that you do not have to settle for anything less than what you deserve. Not because another love is around the corner, but because you must be honest with yourself to be honest while dating and spending time with someone else.

In Episode 14 of Authentic with Marlowe Lenard, Marlowe shares a lesson she recently learned from dating and romantic relationships. Although hurt and disappointed, Marlowe chose to walk away from a relationship where she and the other person didn't share the same goals.

Marlowe reflects on the honesty, strength, and maturity needed to walk away from love instead of staying in an unfulfilling relationship, rather than creating a fantasy and narrative of what she wanted the relationship to become — a lesson learned from Marlowe’s 15-year marriage.

Marlowe Lenard is gaining clarity about what she wants and doesn't want in her life, including in romantic relationships and from a romantic partner. Episode 14 of Authentic with Marlowe Lenard shares how being authentic with yourself requires you to make difficult decisions, like leaving an exciting love once you learn that both people are not aligned.

The realization that "two people could carry the same experience but be meant to take them in different directions" underscores the idea that relationships are not just about feelings, but each persons individual path and growth. This perspective encourages listeners to reflect on their own relationships and consider how these connections can guide them toward their authentic selves.

Through tears and pride, Marlowe demonstrates the necessity of setting boundaries and encourages listeners to take off their emotional, societal, nonchalant, inauthentic masks and confront their relationships with honesty.

In Episode 13 of Authentic with Marlowe Lenard, Marlowe welcomes Jackie Pilossoph to the podcast to discuss their personal writing journeys, divorce, and how self-publishing is an act of self-acceptance.

Jackie hosts the Divorced Girl Smiling podcast. Her motivation to podcast came from her giving heart: Jackie wanted to provide resources for divorced women to help them navigate the process. • Who Are You? The Path to Authenticity and Co-Creation
    Apr 11 2025

We need people, anger, and energy to live authentically because everything is co-created. In this episode of Authentic with Marlowe Lenard, Marlowe welcomes Leo Sablin to the podcast. After meeting in Cairo, Egypt, in February 2025 at a Robert Edward Grant's Expedition traveling up the Nile, Marlowe and Leo kept in touch, and Leo shared a kundalini breathing exercise with Marlowe. An exercise that would assist with an anger Marlowe didn’t know she possessed because generally, she is a positive person in life.

Anger is a theme of the episode because Leo spotted something in Marlowe she didn't even know she was carrying. He unlocked her anger in the best of ways. We learn that anger is not a negative or unwanted emotion. Anger inspires children to imitate and walk. Anger that makes us want to grow, learn, and do more. Anger is an engaging fire in your life that reminds you that you are alive and want to create and can shift your consciousness.

Episode 12 of Authentic with Marlowe Lenard discusses the complexities of navigating today's world, from political turmoil, living amidst a flood of information yet being ignorant of truth, moral dilemmas, the value of authenticity, and how to acknowledge that you influence your surroundings and life.

Although life will present challenges to us, whether divorce, creative dissatisfaction, or a desire for spiritual understanding, religious practices, or the spiritual unconscious, we must acknowledge that the process of creation is not isolated. Creating life, creating an energy-led life, and creating spiritual abundance are ways that we can reinforce our interconnectedness with the world.

Marlowe shares how she uses storytelling and fantasizing as escapism to craft narratives to shield herself from uncomfortable truths in life and coping mechanisms. Marlowe and Leo discuss how storytelling is a gift and can lead Marlowe to a broader, more conscious life. Episode 12 of Authentic with Marlowe Lenard discusses aura, human conception, Human Design, and future self incarnation, and encouragement to visit the places that raise your frequency and energy, which for Marlowe are New York City and Mexico.

From working in a call center to growing to a VP corporate role, Kat trusts herself, sets her intentions, and is cultivating genuine happiness and inner peace in her life.

In Episode 11 of Authentic with Marlowe Lenard, Marlowe explains how intentionality led her to make conscious choices that align with today's goals.
