All saved for one man, Yorrick Brown and his pet monkey Ampersand. In a world ruled by women, the last man on earth is now the most wanted person on the planet. Written by the legendary Bran K. Vaughan and artist Pia Guerra. We follow Yorrick and Ampersand along with the supporting characters of the mysterious bodyguard Agent 355, Doctor Allison Man who aims to find out the cause and solution to this "gendercide", Beth, Yorrick's Australian girlfriend he is on the quest to reunite with, as each of compelling characters struggle each day to survive in this new age society.

Teamed up with his cyborg partner John Colby, the two agents deal with everything from missing health inspectors, saving Poyo the chicken fighting champion, investigating a new mysterious chicken substitute, fighting vampires, a chicken smuggling ring, and so much more.

    This series filled with humor, mystery, action and recommended for fans looking to dig into a new buddy cop style series that is refreshing while still doing great character development and brilliant storytelling.

    Published by Boom Studios, Grim is a original series created by writer Stephanie Phillips and artist Flaviano with colorist Rico Renzi, imagining the world of the afterlife run by various "Grim Reapers" of all backgrounds featuring the main character Jessica Harrow. She is a young Grim Reaper who is edgy yet caring character that is here to escort the dead to the afterlife. That is until her scythe gets stolen and the people living can see her. However, as we learn quickly this is just the tip of the iceberg. The mystery of Jessica Harrow's origins, how did she die, and how does her lineage end up putting the fate of the world in her hands, is what drives book forward.

    The pacing on this book is phenomenal, character development of Jessica is earned, the various Grim Reapers in their society are all unique, well developed story and the cliff hangers at the end of each issue made the series amazing. We recommend anyone who likes supernatural, action, drama with themes of horror vibes check out Grim.

    We read the first Deluxe Edition collecting the first 15 issues of the series, but the book is still ongoing with issues 16- 20 in volume 4 just released.

The Dark Tower novel series written by Stephen King was originally published in 1982 with a world set in a Western with elements of the dark supernatural fantasy. The story follows the adventures of Roland Deschain, son of Steven of the House of Eld as The Gunslinger purses his quest to reach the Dark Tower, the center of the universes and his vengeance upon The Man In Black. Regarded as Stephen Kings magnum opus, this series was adapted into the comic book format published by Marvel Comics in 2007 by the incredible comic book team of Robin Furth, scripts by Peter David, and art by Jae Lee and Richard Isanove.
