In this podcast episode, servant-host Daniel Miller discusses the Book of Mark chapter 9. In doing so, we share personal practices of daily scripture reading, reflecting on techniques learned during academic experiences to aid in understanding and emphasizing collaborative learning within the Christian community.

Specifically, the podcast delves into moments in scripture, highlighting Peter’s divine experience in Matthew 17 and Luke 9, as well as Jesus’ teachings on faith, healing, and rising from the dead. Jesus’ teachings on humility, service, and childlike faith are also explored, with reflections on modeling one’s faith after that of a child.

Here we teach science to the way science should be taught. At Biblical Anatomy Academy we integrate Christian beliefs and oppose evolution. God’s word is always first in what we teach.

This week, on the Biblical Anatomy Podcast, we delve into the mitochondria and its role in cellular energy production. We draw spiritual parallels focused in Scripture.

To that end, we discuss turning to God for salvation. We reference biblical verses on rewards and persecutions, and reflects on self-awareness, patience, and forgiveness.

We address societal expectations of masculinity, aligning biblical teachings with humility and self-control. We emphasizes valuing qualities beyond power and intimidation, focusing on careful listening, patience, and forgiveness.

Additionally, we highlight the importance of recognizing the body as a temple, engaging in physical activities to promote health, and understanding exercise physiology to do so.

By teaching Bible first, we aspire to challenge the concept of chance in physiological processes, advocating for intelligent design and a higher power, encouraging reflection on religious verses and connection to God’s word.

  • Mark 6 Bible Study
    Jun 12 2024

In this podcast episode, servant-host Daniel Miller discusses the importance of Mark chapter 6, specifically the miracles of Jesus being limited by people’s lack of faith, emphasizing the need for accurate understanding through exploring translations and commentaries. Note that limitations of Jesus do not exist, as He is God; but rather that miracles provided to those who lack faith would be unjust.

The episode further explores the belief in the inerrancy of God’s word while acknowledging interpretation challenges. It highlights the importance of having faith and reliance on divine provision, drawing parallels to biblical passages about finding guidance in Jesus as a shepherd.

The episode concludes with an emphasis on maintaining faith and trust in God’s guidance for transformation.

Continuing a steadfast tradition, the Biblical Anatomy podcast concludes with the Lord’s prayer (Matt 6:9-13; Luke 11:2-4).
