    (Initially published April 21, 2024) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... I was born again on August 5, 1975. Shortly after that, I was asleep in the night when God transported me into heaven, similar to the example given in 2 Corinthians 12. I was with God and Christ and the Holy Spirit. I saw no images. It was a spiritual experience. At that time I was "merged into the body of Jesus", made one with the word of God, God and the Holy Spirit witnessing. A few nights later, the exact same thing happened to me again. I thought this happened to all who were born again. When I found that was not the case, I didn't know why this had happened to me. Later I was reading a book entitled Exodus, and the author said sometime when God has a special calling for someone HE will often cause a "special" thing to happen like Moses and the burning bush. For the next 5 years God prepared me for the ministry I was to do on this earth, apostle and prophet. God showed me apostles have an anointing to deal with scripture and they will try to cause churches to abide by the NT scriptures. Prophets deliver messages, especially corrections, to the church people and the ministers. Prophets are often also shown things to come. 💥💥💥 In preparing me during those years, God gave me several instructions for me to follow personally. One of the first things God showed me was for me to get out of debt and stay out of debt. God used this scripture with this instruction: Romans 13:8 Owe no man anything. 💥💥💥 💥 After I was born again in 1975, God said to me, "Get out of debt and stay out of debt." At the time I heard this word from God, I owned a small business, American Indian Arts, in Dallas, Texas. I set about immediately to pay off all my debt. I owed $6,000 to a woman who had loaned me money to purchase merchandise for my business. She did not require interest on her loan. She asked me to allow her to buy merchandise from my shop at my cost which I was pleased to do. I was not born again at the time I borrowed this money. After I was born again, I saw this verse of scripture and set about to do this scripture: 2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? So far as I knew, the woman who loaned me money was an unbeliever. I wanted to pay her what I owed her as soon as possible and that would set me totally out of debt. First when we hear a word from God and believe God spoke that Word to us, we purpose in our hearts to do that word. 💥💥💥 I prayed immediately asking God to help me to get out of debt and I asked God to give me wisdom to get out of debt based on the following promise of God from the New Testament Bible. James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 💥💥💥 God had taught me to pray for wisdom concerning the items I purchased for the shop and to be led by the Holy Spirit concerning each item I purchased. I went on a buying trip to New Mexico, USA. In Santa Fe, I visited a friend who owned a shop where he dealt with American Indian arts. I sold mostly jewelry at that time and some pottery. He had an old Navajo rug displayed in his shop. I found I just couldn't walk away from that rug. It was priced at $500. Finally I bought it. (God had been teaching me to purchase items that interested me and that I could pay for in cash.) I took the rug to Albuquerque to a woman who specialized in appraising Navajo rugs. She said, "Most of the old rugs are worthless. But you lucked out. This is a fine example of a Navajo rug and it will go up in price. It is worth $1500 now but you should price this rug where it will not sell, for this is a rug that will go up greatly in price in the future." The first day I returned to Dallas with the merchandise, a man called me wanted to see jewelry. I had that rug rolled up and lying next to the wall. He said, "What's that?" I replied, "It's an old Navajo rug which I brought back with me yesterday from my buying trip." He said, "Let me see it." I said, "Oh ... I don't think you would want that." He said, "Well let me see it." I rolled the rug out on the floor. He walked around it looking carefully at the rug. Then he said, "How much." I replied: "$5,000". He said: "I'll take it." and he began writing out a check! I was horrified. I was an honest merchant. I did not overcharge my customers. I began trying to talk him out of buying that rug since I knew it was overpriced. But he was determined to purchase that rug. So I said to him, "Here is what I will do. You take the rug and I will hold your check for one week without cashing it. If you decide for any ...

    (Initially published April 20, 2024) Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... God gave me many concepts to live by over the 40+ years after I was born again. If you do these, you will definitely have a more abundant and godly life on this earth. 💥💥💥 💥 # 1. Be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind to the Word given to you by God. God shows us the way of life through the Holy Bible. As we take individual scripture and do those verses in our life we begin to move into godliness and we are separated from going in the ways of this world. This is the true path to godliness, success, and prosperity. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (Structure your life by going in the way shown us in the Holy Bible, especially in New Testament Scripture.) 💥💥💥 A vast field of buried treasure hiding in plain sight just waiting for us to find nuggets and dig them up and keep them are found in the Holy Bible: We hunt this treasure as we read the chapters of the Bible: The Word of God takes us in ways this world rarely finds. Their wisdom is very different from the way God shows us to live on this earth. This world seeks wealth, fame, praise of men. All of this has a short season. And then like a vapor it vanishes never to be again and the fruits produced are often depression and bitterness. Men are praised by other men when they do well for themselves: sports figures; women with physical beauty; being the best over those around you; making more money; achieving fame and recognition; These ways have short life spans and in the end, rarely does the treasure follow you to the grave where the fame usually vanishes with the years of death and you enter the life you have purchased for eternity whether it is good or bad. The flames of the past accomplishments burn away year after year never to rise again to that which they once were. "All this for what?" And where are you now? after death? "Where is that person now?" I always wonder after that person dies. And eternal life begins. And God judges that life and rewards for either good or evil that was done. And God's judgment of us is forever! OJ Simpson died recently. Where is he today? Now he has begun "forever". And it can't be changed, for it is eternity. Luke 12 15 And HE said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth. 16 And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: 17 And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? 18 And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. 19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. 20 But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? 21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God. 💥💥💥 Psalm 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do HIS commandments: HIS praise endureth for ever. The men who praised us die and their praise ends or they end their praise if they don't approve of what we are doing along the way. Jesus said: John 8 31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on HIM, If ye continue in MY word, then are ye MY disciples indeed; continue: to do something and keep on doing 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. 💥💥💥 Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. 💥💥💥 I Thessalonians 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 💥💥💥 I Thessalonians 5:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil. 💥💥💥 Matthew 6 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and HIS righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Remembering daily to be thankful to God continually. Keeping yourself in the love of God ... living in joy. Fighting the good fight of faith. Living continually in peace, without spot, blameless. (2 Peter 3:14) Helping others to have the best they can have through encouragement in good as we have been given good. Edifying others in the grace of God and word of God. (Initially published June 5, 2024) If you take into your heart and inner being such things as anger and wrath against other people, be diligent to turn to God in prayer, asking God to cleanse you and create in you a right spirit, for much evil can come from anger and wrath if you store this in your heart, and you can hurt others when you share with them. (Initially published June 22, 2023) Proverbs 10:19 In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise. 💥💥💥 God says: The more talk, the more opportunity there is for sin. 💥💥💥 Matthew 12 (Jesus says) 33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. 34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. 35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. 36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. 37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. 💥💥💥 Speculation of humans can be filled with evil thinking. Also when we tell what we have heard, if what we heard was wrong, we can be accountable for spreading false witness. To try to explain what is happening, giving reasons, is also very dangerous. In his wisdom from God Solomon said: Proverbs 26:16 The sluggard is wiser in his own conceit than seven men that can render a reason. (I'm learning to stop giving a reason unless I'm sure I've heard from God.) 💥💥💥 Being wise in her own eyes was part of the downfall of Eve. Genesis 3 1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. (Eve added to the Word of God. God did not say, "Neither shall ye touch it.") 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. (Humans greatly desire to be as gods, explaining "why" something happened.) 6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. (People want other people to see them as being "wise" without God.) 💥💥💥 People also want to take pride in other humans. But when I tell what God said or did, they often want to run away from me. Give glory to God! Show HIS word and HIS work. John 16:13-14 (Jesus said) 13 Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of HIMSELF; but whatsoever HE shall hear (from God), that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come. 14 He (the Holy Spirit) shall glorify ME (the Word): for HE shall receive of MINE, and shall shew it unto you. 💥💥💥 John 7:18 (Jesus said) He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh HIS glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him. 💥💥💥 When I know I'm going to be with other people, I often pray asking God to have me speak only what HE wants me to speak. And from the time that God started training me to work as a minister, HE showed me not to plan anything. Just step out on stage and speak that which the Holy Spirit brought to my mind, scripture or example. And God taught me to write this way on blog and record this way on Podcasts. My example was the apostle Paul: I Corinthians 2 (Paul says:) 1 And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. 2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and HIM crucified. 3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. 4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: 5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. 💥💥💥💥💥

(Initially published on January 25, 2024) Psalm 37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD (the Word); and HE shall give thee the desires of thine heart. 💥💥💥 Many people delight in money, taking a better paying job. I never followed after money. Before I was born again and a Christian, I followed after my interests. After I was born again, I followed after scriptures, one verse at a time. ... "Owe no man anything." (Romans 13:8) So I got out of debt. Then I felt God was leading me to stay out of debt. Wait until I had money to pay before buying cars or buying house. I never took out a mortgage. God show me other ways to go. But I remained true to that which I heard from Holy Spirit. Resisting wisdom of world. I rented apartment until I could pay cash for house. (Sounds like foolishness to the world.) It takes faith to follow God by scripture. It is often not wise in eyes of world. 💥💥💥 Jesus says: Matthew 7:13-14 13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. 💥💥💥💥💥 * For writings on additional subjects, click here: Jesus Ministries Exhortations Blog
