As believers, God has called us to be cultivators of life from Genesis 1. The very first command of Scripture to humanity is to “Be fruitful”. We should be people that stand out from the crowd, that live differently, and that honor God in all they do because of the Holy Spirit that lives inside of us. In Galatians 5, Paul says that for freedom Christ has set us free, and in response we can live filled with the Holy Spirit and the fruit of the Spirit should come out of our life. The fruit of our life has an impact on everyone around us and is a reflection of our connection to God according to John 15: “Apart from me you can do nothing”. So everyday we choose whether to walk with the Spirit or in our flesh, and with every decision we cultivate something: let it be life.
