Saul has now died and the kingdom will begin to transfer to David who is known as a man after God's own heart. This week we will see David lament and mourn over Saul, Jonathan and the great defeat that the Israelites had encountered in the battle against the Philistines.

    This week Nehemiah as he has now arrived in Jerusalem will take some time to examine the walls and then will look to let the people know all that God had done on his behalf. The people will gather together and we'll see that the repairs of the wall will begin. Tonight we'll be looking at the 10 gates mentioned in chapter 3 and how all of us spiritually speaking go through these gates in our Christian walk.

His hatred towards the Jews will catch up to him and God will be working behind the scenes to bring about a great victory for his people. We'll see the sovereignty of God in action this evening.

  • Esther 3-5 "A Tragic Situation"

    This week we will see the villain of the narrative enter the picture as Haman is elevated to the second most powerful position in the kingdom. He will then turn on the Jewish people and manage to convince the king to allow the extermination of the entire Jewish population in the province. Esther will then become involved and will ask the king and Haman to come to a banquet.
