Colorado Springs Police Blotter - May 1-7, 2025

Several incidents were reported in Colorado Springs and surrounding areas over the past week. All information is preliminary and subject to change.

On May 4, 2025, police responded to multiple calls across the city. Details of these incidents were not specified in the available public records, though the Golden Police Department has published their daily blotter covering this date.

Earlier this year, on February 22, 2023, several incidents were reported in the El Paso County Sheriff's jurisdiction: At approximately 9:04 PM, authorities responded to an alarm on Western Drive in the Cimarron Hills area (Case #2023-00031791). A theft was reported at 8:47 PM on Black Forest Road in Black Forest (Case #2023-00031789). At 8:40 PM, a hazard was reported at Peterson Road and Constitution Avenue in Cimarron Hills (Case #2023-00031786). Traffic accidents were reported at 7:29 PM on Interstate 25 northbound near mile marker 150 in Colorado Springs (Case #2023-00031768), at 7:23 PM at Fontaine Boulevard and Fountain Mesa Road in Security (Case #2023-00031765), and at 7:07 PM on North Marksheffel Road in Colorado Springs (Case #2023-00031758).

In more recent arrests across Colorado, on May 6, 2025, Quinton F. Spitler was arrested by the Fremont County Sheriff's Office on assault charges and one additional charge. Details of this arrest are under investigation.

On April 30, 2025, several arrests were made in Fremont County: Michael A. Trujillo was arrested on charges of Fugitive of Justice and DUI. Aimee L. Sanborn was arrested for Assault with a deadly weapon and two additional charges; she was released on personal recognizance bond by Magistrate LeBeau. Joshua J. Kenitzer was arrested for DUID and two additional charges and released on personal recognizance bond. Michelle Cervantes was arrested for assault and one additional charge, also released on personal recognizance bond. Jesse L. Mundell was arrested on multiple charges including Fugitive of Justice and motor vehicle theft.
