In our Noteworthy segment, we look at the state of the vegan food market. Has the bubble burst?

And, our Main Topic this week is an update on how US health agencies are handling ( or not handling) the avian flu outbreak. They want you to think that it just went away, but guess what? It has not!

In our Noteworthy segment, we debunk some recent headlines that have been reporting that vegans cannot build muscle due to not ingesting animal protein.

We'll share a recent scientific article that proves that to be false!

And, in our Main Topic this week, we share some good news in the vegan space.

You'll hear about a vegan fast food chain that's expanding to 18 more locations, a story of how the NIH is working towards phasing out animal testing for medicines and foods, how a former animal testing facility has been transitioned into an animal sanctuary, and Italy has recently banned puppy yoga. This week in our Main Topic, we're taking a look at some legislation that is basically the EATS act in sheep's clothing. The Food Security & Farmer Protection Act ,(S.1326) is a bill that has all the same language as the EATS Act and will be terribly detrimental to the welfare of animals and the environment.

Please contact your elected officials and insist that they vote no on S. 1326.

Our Noteworthy segment is all about the Canadian vegan restaurant chain, Odd Burger, and the sad news that they have scrapped their plans to expand to the US because of the political climate, republican backed tariffs, and the trade war started by the Trump administration.

Our Vegan Restaurant SOS this week spotlights Unbeetble in Schenectady, NY. They have a really unique place with a retro game room, amazing cocktails, and a huge menu of vegan food!

Are his proposals based in reality? On the surface, he seems to have some good ideas, but when you dig into them, they are mostly unattainable, and in some cases, out right dangerous.

Our Main Topic this week is a guide to help you become a more effective advocate for veganism. We'll give you some tools to help you educate people on the benefits of becoming vegan, and we will also point out some ways that are not effective when trying to convince people to adopt a vegan lifestyle.
