  • 3706 Savvy Summertime Parenting Hacks
    May 23 2025
Are you dreading the impending summer days with your kids? Fear not! With a few savvy summertime parenting hacks, you can create all the fun you desire and keep your sanity intact. Balancing boundaries and enjoyment can be a challenge, but with the right strategies, you can make the most of the sunny season with your little ones. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com First of all, think about what you want for your family. When you look at today, where do you want to be on the last day of summer? And what I mean by this is, how do you want to grow and be stretched as a family? Summers can be challenging because there is more time to fill with activities. But you don't have to do everything. Yet, you do need to be a family and spend time together. The K.I.S.S. ~ Spend time together! That's where everything starts: spend time together! Summertime is not a break from school and studying, but an opportunity to strengthen your relationship with your children. No matter what you do, if spending time together is the result, that's the best summer ever. However, I know there are a few things you can do to help you get through the summer with a smile. So let's look at ten parenting hacks to help you survive and thrive during the summer months. 1. Set a Daily Routine: Establishing a daily routine can provide structure for both you and your kids. Include designated playtime, meal times, and quiet time to maintain a sense of order throughout the day. 2. Create a Summer Bucket List: Involve your children in creating a list of fun activities and adventures they want to experience during the summer. And this bucket list does not have to cost money. Yet, it gives them something to look forward to and helps prevent boredom. 3. Limit Screen Time: While it can be tempting to rely on screens for entertainment, set limits on screen time to encourage outdoor play, creativity, and family bonding. 4. Organize Weekly Outings: Plan weekly outings to parks, museums, or local attractions to break up the routine and keep things exciting for your kids. 5. Schedule "Mom/Dad Time": Prioritize self-care by scheduling regular "mom/dad time" for yourself. Whether it's reading a book, going for a walk, or enjoying a cup of coffee in peace, taking care of yourself will help you recharge and be a better parent. 6. Turn Chores into Games: Get your kids involved in household chores by turning them into fun games. Make cleaning up a race or create a scavenger hunt for items that need to be put away. 7. Embrace Messy Play: Let go of the need for a perfectly clean house and embrace messy play activities like painting, water play, or baking together. The memories created will far outweigh the temporary mess. 8. Set Boundaries with Love: Establish clear boundaries with your children and enforce them with love and consistency. Consistent boundaries provide a sense of security for kids and help them understand expectations. 9. Plan Regular Family Parties: Hold weekly family parties to discuss upcoming plans, express concerns, and celebrate successes. Encouraging open communication strengthens family bonds and fosters a sense of teamwork. 10. Practice Gratitude: Encourage your children to practice gratitude by reflecting on the positive aspects of each day. Ending the day with gratitude can shift the focus from challenges to blessings. Create a Summer Gratitude & Joy Jar. Then, you can revisit your memories anytime. By implementing these parenting hacks, you can navigate the summer months with ease and create lasting memories with your children. Remember, finding the balance between boundaries and fun is key to a successful summer for the whole family. "Be present. Be incredible. • 3705 Give Yourself More Credit
    May 22 2025
In a world where we often strive for perfection and compare ourselves to others, it's easy to lose sight of our own unique journey and accomplishments. But what if you celebrate how far you've come instead of focusing on what you haven't achieved? Give yourself more credit. Life is a rollercoaster of highs and lows, twists and turns, successes and setbacks. It's a constant journey of growth, learning, and self-discovery. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com And through it all, one thing remains true: you have the power to shape your own narrative, to define who you are, and to give yourself the credit you truly deserve. Each morning we wake up is a new opportunity to rewrite our stories, to choose positivity over negativity, and to acknowledge the progress we've made, no matter how small. It's about shifting our mindset from doubt to belief, from criticism to compassion. Rather than dwelling on the challenges we face, let's focus on our strengths, our resilience, and our determination to keep moving forward. Let's acknowledge the little victories, the moments of courage, and the steps we've taken towards our goals. The K.I.S.S. ~ Give yourself more credit! Life is too short to be consumed by self-doubt and negativity. It's time to break free from the cycle of doubt and embrace a mindset of empowerment and self-appreciation. Let's take the pain of our past experiences and use them as stepping stones towards a brighter future. There's no reason to live in the bubble of double trouble. Remember, progress is not linear. It's okay to have setbacks and detours along the way. What matters most is that you keep pushing forward, one step at a time, towards your own version of greatness. So, give yourself more credit. Celebrate your journey, your resilience, and your unwavering spirit. Embrace the unique path you're on, and believe in the endless possibilities that lie ahead. You are worthy, you are capable, and you are deserving of all the credit in the world. "One step at a time leads to miles of greatness." ~ Kristianne Wargo Keep taking those steps, believing in yourself, and watching as your journey multiplies your impact. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #Inspiration #CreateYourNow #DailyMotivation 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? • 3704 When All H*ll Breaks Loose
    May 21 2025
What do you do when all h*ll breaks loose regarding healthy living? There are so many times when you don't have any control, because outside factors are dictating the situation or circumstance. How do you go about making healthy choices? How do you make your life count when everything around you is crumbling? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com In times when everything seems to be falling apart and circumstances feel overwhelming, it's essential to remember that the power to make a positive impact on your well-being lies within you. While external factors may be out of your control, there are still ways to prioritize your health and well-being even when all h*ll breaks loose. You need to understand that you matter, and what you can do in the moment and season you're in is all that counts. Beating yourself up for the unknowns or uncontrollable options is not possible. That only digs a deeper hole that you are not worthy. And that is backward thinking! Move forward and embrace what matters-- YOU!!! The K.I.S.S. ~ Do what you can! It's not about being perfect in healthy living, but making good choices that work for an imperfect season. 1. Focus on What You Can Control: In situations where external circumstances seem to dictate your life, it's crucial to shift your focus to what you can control. This might include your mindset, daily habits, and self-care practices. By directing your energy and effort towards managing the aspects of your life that are within your reach, you can empower yourself to make healthier choices despite the chaos around you. "Let the hamster wheel go; you can still drink water while on it." ~ Kristianne Wargo 2. Practice Mindfulness and Self-Compassion: Being kind to yourself during challenging times is paramount. Instead of criticizing yourself for not being able to control external factors, practice self-compassion and mindfulness. Take moments to breathe, reflect on your strengths, and acknowledge the efforts you're making towards maintaining your well-being. By nurturing a positive relationship with yourself, you can better navigate difficult circumstances with resilience and grace. "Kindness goes a long way when you serve from your heart." ~ Kristianne Wargo 3. Seek Support and Connection: Remember, you don't have to face tough times alone. Reach out to friends, family, or a support network for guidance and encouragement. Sharing your struggles with others can provide a sense of relief and perspective, reminding you that you are not alone in your journey towards health and wellness. Whether through virtual connections, therapy, or community resources, seeking support can help you feel empowered and supported during challenging times. When all h*ll breaks loose, remember that your well-being matters, and taking care of yourself is a courageous act of loving who you are and who you are becoming. By focusing on what you can control, practicing mindfulness and self-compassion, and seeking support from others, you can navigate through tough times with resilience and determination. Embrace the power within you to make healthy choices and prioritize your well-being, no matter what circumstances may come your way. You are made for more. Don't sell your body short just because you're in a season of chaos. Take a deep breath, be present in your decisions, and follow through with resilient action. You got this! "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #WellnessWednesday #CreateYourNow #HealthAndWellness 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women?
