  • 70: Lessons from hosting my second international retreat for WOC
    Jul 9 2025

This episode is a personal recap of The Table We Built, my second international retreat for Reclamation clients—this time held in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Unlike traditional business retreats, this wasn’t about jungle breathwork or hotel ballrooms.

It was about creating an intimate, intentional space that supported the whole human experience of women of color and daughters of immigrants.

In this episode, I’m pulling back the curtain on:

    • Why we must start with intention—and how that single choice guided every decision I made
    • What I learned from my first retreat that helped me simplify the second
    • How environment, safety, and design all helped clients experience deeper breakthroughs
    • The very real behind-the-scenes of managing my own energy as a host
    • And how conversations around identity, safety, motherhood, and belonging unfolded naturally—without being on the “agenda”

If you’re a coach or leader dreaming about bringing people together in a way that feels human and healing—this one’s for you.

  • 69: 8 reasons your offer works but it’s not selling consistently
    Jun 29 2025

You know your offer works. Your clients get results. People refer you. So why isn’t it selling consistently?

In this episode, I break down 8 specific reasons why a proven offer might still feel hard to sell—especially if your leads are mostly coming from referrals or word of mouth instead of your own marketing.

These are the kinds of blind spots I coach my clients through all the time, and I’ve experienced them firsthand. Inside, I cover:

    • Why “my audience just doesn’t get it” is usually a messaging issue
    • How positioning your offer as a step beyond where your audience thinks they are can backfire
    • The difference between helpful content and content that actually converts
    • How to sell to the person who’s been silently creeping on your page for weeks
    • Why storytelling-based social proof works better than testimonials—and how to use it
    • Subtle ways we unintentionally create resistance with our audience (and what to do instead)

If you’ve been questioning your marketing or wondering whether you need to change your offer—this episode is your sign to pause and audit before you pivot.

  • 68: How Do I Show Up Right Now? Navigating Business While the Immigrant Community Is Under Attack
    Jun 16 2025

Lately, I’ve been sitting with a question that so many of my clients—especially daughters of immigrants—are bringing to our sessions:

How do I show up for my business when I’m personally impacted by what’s happening to my community?

    When ICE is conducting raids.

When people are being kidnapped out of their homes, workplaces, and off the streets—thrown into unmarked vehicles without due process.

When your nervous system is overwhelmed and your community is afraid.

This episode is a conversation about how I’m navigating that myself—and how I’m supporting my clients through it.

Because we don’t run our businesses in a vacuum. We do business on our phones, while our friends and families are being impacted in real time. And when the attacks on immigrants feel like an attack on us, it makes total sense that showing up in our business can feel… impossible.

    Inside, I share:

    • How I’m helping clients (and myself) discern: What do I need in order to show up?—instead of “how do I push through?”
    • What it looks like to lead and support others when your own body is in fight-or-flight.
    • Ways to tend to your nervous system so you don’t freeze or burn out while trying to stay informed and visible.
    • How to stay connected to your community and purpose without abandoning yourself.

And when it feels especially hard to market your business in moments like this, I come back to this question:

Why does my business exist—and why does my message matter more than ever right now?

For me, the answer is this: Who controls your money, controls your voice.

That’s why I believe so deeply in daughters of immigrants building brands that are rooted in truth, identity, and self-determination. It’s not about selling—it’s about sovereignty.

This episode isn’t polished. I recorded it walking through my house, because that’s what my body needed in order to speak. But if you’re grieving, triggered, and trying to figure out how to keep showing up—this is for you.

  • 67: How I Manage My Money to Sustain Multiple Six Figures as a Breadwinner CEO
    Jun 4 2025

Every dollar in your business has a job to do.

If it’s sitting in your account just to make you feel safe, but you have Profit Problems you don’t know how to solve, you might be keeping your business stuck on your own dime.

This episode is for anyone who’s navigating the very real tension of needing their business to be profitable because they pay the bills with their business—yet not always feeling safe enough to do what it takes to make sure that happens.

I’m pulling back the curtain on how I manage my business revenue as a single mom breadwinner CEO—someone who pays herself every single month and takes a six figure salary from her business, and who knows she can’t afford to pull support and “figure it out” later.

    Here’s what I break down:

    • What changes when you have to take a salary vs. when you don’t
    • The difference between thinking about business revenue like a CEO vs. like an employee. It’s not your money - it’s belongs to the business.
    • How I decide what investments to make, keep, and stop
    • The exact order I prioritize where my money goes (spoiler: it’s not salary first)

This episode is about radical honesty, smart risk, and making sure your money is solving the right problems in your business.

    Especially if you’ve ever said:

“Can I really afford to invest in this right now?”

    or

“Am I just pulling a Jenga block that’s holding everything up?”

  • 66: Adopting a Puppy to "Complete" My Family: Why Goal-Setting from Lack Doesn’t Work
    May 14 2025

In this episode, I’m sharing the real story behind adopting—and ultimately rehoming—a puppy I thought would "complete my family" as a single mom.

It’s a story I almost didn’t share. But what started as a deeply personal decision became a mirror for the kind of choices so many of us make in business.

Because this wasn’t just about a puppy.

It was about trying to soothe a feeling I hadn’t fully acknowledged—and how that showed up in a major life decision.

Here’s what I’m unpacking in this episode:

    • Why even the most “well-thought-out” decisions can still come from a place of lack
    • How I’ve seen brilliant women (myself included) set goals not because we want them—but because we think they’ll finally make us feel safe, successful, or enough
    • What happens when you bring your unhealed self into a milestone and still feel unsatisfied
    • The real cost of setting goals to escape how we feel about ourselves today

This episode is an invitation to get radically honest with yourself:

  • 65: How to stop wasting time and money on the wrong strategies
    May 7 2025

    You’re already making money.

You’ve got a proven offer, clients, and the receipts to show for it.

But even now, you’re looking around at what everyone else is doing—and wondering if you're missing something.

Should I be doing reels like her?

    Should I start a funnel?

Should I be on LinkedIn more?

If you’ve ever felt that spiral of “do I need to do that too?”—this episode is for you.

In this solo, I’m talking about:

    • Why this happens especially to women of color and daughters of immigrants
    • The difference between tactics and strategy (and why this matters more the further along you get)
    • The 5 questions that will help you decide what’s actually aligned for your business
    • A story from a past interview with a marketing exec who launched Airbnb and Lyft—and how it shaped the way I coach today

This episode isn’t about working harder or optimizing faster.

It’s about thinking more like a CEO and less like a good student.

If you’re tired of outsourcing your decisions and you’re ready to build a strategy that honors your values, capacity, and goals—press play.

  • 64: Sitting in the Problem vs Solving It: What Most Entrepreneurs Miss
    Apr 10 2025

Sometimes you’re not not trying… you’re just not solving the right problem.

In this solo episode, I talk about what to do when you feel like you’ve been doing “all the things” in your business but it’s still not working. You’ll hear me share a voice-note-born analogy (yes, this one’s about plants 🌿) that helped one of my private clients finally see why her sales had slowed—even though it looked like she was showing up.

    We dive into:

    • The difference between sitting in a problem and actively solving it
    • Why “changing your offer again” might be distracting you from the real issue
    • The invisible ways you might be capping your demand, energy, and client capacity
    • And why having someone else diagnose the real issue with you is the most loving thing you can do for your business

I also share a transparent look at how I support my clients through this—whether that’s through 6-month private coaching or month-to-month Telegram coaching for $700.

This episode is a permission slip to stop over-efforting, stop fidgeting with your offer, and start solving the real problem.

  • 63: What I’d do differently if I were starting my business in 2025
    Mar 28 2025

Let’s be real: we’re under Trump again.

We’re over a year into witnessing a genocide in Palestine.

And between layoffs, ICE raids, and DEI being gutted—so many of us are navigating business while grieving, angry, and uncertain about what’s next.

    If you’re asking yourself:

“What’s actually worth my time, energy, and money?”

    This episode is for you.

I recorded this on day 3 of a sick kid at home while reflecting on what I’d do differently (and the same) if I were restarting my business in 2025.

Because while the world has changed, business hasn’t stopped. It’s just asking more of us—especially those of us with marginalized identities.

    Inside the episode:

✔️ What I’d double down on from when I started my brand in 2019

✔️ Mistakes I made and what I’d shift if I were starting over

✔️ Why people are slower to invest (but still buying)

✔️ How to lead authentically in heavy times

✔️ What’s actually working in mentorship and visibility

This isn’t a “just post through it” pep talk.

It’s an honest look at what it means to grow with intention and strategy—without bypassing what’s real.

🎧 Listen now to learn how to make your next moves with clarity, not chaos.

And if you want support to clarify your brand, messaging, and demand strategy in a way that honors your life and your leadership—I have private coaching spots opening in May.
