Living Water

“living water”

What would life be without this living water? There would be no hope of heaven, there would be no joy. There would be no peace with God. There would be no true worship, there would be no salvation

but with this living water, and Jesus clearly said what this living water was, it was the Holy Spirit living in you. You will have life, you will be able to worship God, you will have a desire to fellowship with God, you will never thirst. What a wonderful story in the Bible to motivate every born-again child of God to thirst after this living water.

John the Baptist Exalts Christ

John 3:22-36

“God is true”

Did you notice that John and Jesus were baptizing at the same time? The Pharisees and the Sadducees would not receive John’s message. Neither did they receive the message of Christ.

“God is true” He is true to his Word. He is true to his Servants. He is true to his Promises. One of the promises of God was that he would send a Messiah, a Savior of the world, and he did. His name is Jesus. Thank you, Jehovah God, that you are true.

For God So Loved the World

John 3:16-21

“But he that doeth truth cometh to the light”

Jesus uses light as an analogy for truth and love; he uses darkness as an analogy for sin and hatred. When a person gets saved, they turn from sin and hatred and turn to God, which is truth and love.

You Must Be Born Again

John 3:1-15

“born of the Spirit”

True life begins when you’re born of the Spirit. Jesus didn’t promise an easy life. But a new life, a new way to look at life, a new way to walk through life, a new friend to always abide with you in life, and at the end of physical life here on Earth, we will abide with Him forever in Heaven if we have been born again by the Spirit of God. Thank you, Jesus, for eternal life.

Jesus Knows What Is in Man

John 2:23-25

“for he knew what was in man”

Only God can judge the motives. So many people fall into the trap of judging people‘s motives, but we have here

Jesus judging their motives. Can I say his judgments were true?

If we had the ability to judge people‘s motives, I think if we’d be like Jesus, we would not commit ourselves to many

discernment is not the ability to judge someone’s motives; it’s the ability to judge their words, their deeds without any prejudice.

We are not mind readers. Only Jesus can do that.

Jesus Cleanses the Temple

John 2:13-22

“make not my Father's house an house of merchandise”

God is not against buying and selling, working hard, and making money, but these people were selling in the temple, which was a sacred and separated place to worship God. As I look at the Christian world today, they’re selling tickets to get into Christian concerts. I wonder what Jesus would think. Let us learn the lesson from Jesus: keep commerce out of the church of God.

The Wedding at Cana

“Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it”

I believe wine symbolizes the wonderful grace of God.

Yes, taste the wonderful grace of God if you and I would do whatsoever he saith. Then I believe wonderful things would happen in our lives . It’s good to believe the words of Jesus, but to do what he says brings forth the victory.

Jesus Calls Philip and Nathanael

“We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph”

They found the wonderful promise of God, the Messiah, the Savior of the world, Jesus of Nazareth. Over 2,000 years have passed, and still people are finding the Lord,

what happens when a person finds the Lord? He gets redeemed, washed by the blood of Jesus, sanctified by the Holy Ghost, and one day glorified. Oh, what a blessing to find the Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior!
