It's amazing what happens when you're searching for Fallout stories, then find something that has nothing to do with it. This is what happened when I fell upon Desert Skies.
I don't listen to podcasts often let alone stories. Never again will I not search for podcast stories.
Desert Skies brought me in with it's first story and has not let me go. I've only gone through the first season, but the location and all the characters create such a great combination of stories to listen to. Episode 12 is amazing.
I lost my mom over a year and a half ago which has been tough. I don't know what she's doing now and if anything happens after this life but I hope that we all can find a peace that maybe, just maybe, we'll also find ourselves driving down a highway and end up at a little station in the desert.

The Astral Plane will never be the same! This is some amazing storytelling and a true lost art. I can't believe I am just finding this now.

The characters in this podcast have won me over. I've relistened to it more than a couple times in a row now.. in case I missed anything. The humorous dialogue makes this an enjoyable listen, plus the satire, and the puns, and the running jokes between episodes, and the unexpected moments of life wisdom. The depth of each charactor's personality is why the cohesive banter between characters is so fluid. and relatable. and believable. I wish I could really run into these guys the next time I go down a long desert highway!
