Better and Better
Feels like I'm actually there. It's like a movie in my mind. Koz is a true hero, like my own husband. Cops are under-appreciated in this day and time.

ATF Puff Piece
I'm not sure when Amazon did the 180 degree turn away from hating the police, but it was sudden. Yesterday they supported "ACAB" and defund the police movements, and today they're pumping up the boys in blue. KOZ and FishPriest, two brand new podcast shows, are both pro-cop dramas whose aim is to humanize law enforcement, to make them out as the heroes. I have nothing against individual cops, as, after all, they are indeed human beings just like the rest of us. But the ATF is one terrible organization. They violate civil liberties and constitutional rights and protections as if it were their job. In fact, these days that's exactly what their job is: to trample the constitution and its amendments, namely, the Second Amendment. This show is well produced, well executed, decent enough acting, a very engaging, immersive experience. But its message is gross. I'm not sure why Amazon is pumping law enforcement these days, but when the corporations and the government are working together you know there's nothing good about it. Decent show, terrible message. As one other reviewer has already put it, I'd rather listen to a courtroom procedural drama about the disbanding and dismantling of the ATF.
