  • 96: Are You Parenting The HARD Way or The EASY Way?
    May 24 2025

A parent called me out in front of everyone at a live parenting workshop in Sydney recently!! EEK.

(🎁 Scroll down for my gift!!!)

Basically they said: "Why bother with emotional intelligence? Isn’t it faster to just punish and move on?"

He’s right about one thing. This kind of parenting does take more time and effort. It’s inconvenient. It’s slower. It requires more of us.

But it also builds something punishment never can: connection, trust, and long-term emotional resilience.

So in this video, I share why I choose the harder way — the emotionally intelligent way — even when life is busy, messy, and overwhelming.

Because our kids don’t need more control. They need more coaching.

And the world they’re growing up in is going to demand "soft skills" like empathy, self-regulation, and communication more than EVER before.

This is for the parents who want to raise emotionally intelligent humans in a fast, AI-driven world — and who are ready to lead that revolution.

  • 94: How NOT to Explode When Your Kids Push Your Buttons! (Emotional Intelligence Hack for Parents!)
    May 18 2025

Kids talking back, being stubborn or seemingly rude can flip a switch in us, FAST!

You’re doing your best, then BAM, you're hit with a “You’re not the boss of me!” or “Ugh, I don’t care!” and suddenly, your calm goes out the window.

If you’ve ever found yourself yelling, threatening, or feeling totally triggered when your child talks back… this video is for you.

In this episode, we’ll talk about:

✔️ Why backtalk feels so triggering—and what’s really going on under the surface

✔️ How emotional intelligence helps you pause, breathe, and respond instead of react

✔️ What your child might be trying to tell you (even if they say it with an attitude)

✔️ The ONE grounding question that can stop you from exploding

✔️ Why backtalk is actually an opportunity to strengthen emotional connection

    ✨ Want to go deeper?

If you’ve been stuck in reactive patterns and you’re ready to feel calm, in control, and connected again… I’ve got you!

Hallelujah that this podcast exists! We could all use the ability to respond in an intelligent way to our kids. Teaching them the best way to handle tough situations. we don;t have to have all the answers, but knowing how to respond in a manner that brings about compassion, understanding and kindness will speak volumes to young minds.

A great voice for a much needed topic!
