Welcome to Empowerography, the premier podcast platform dedicated to bringing powerful women to an empowered stage.


Host, Brad Walsh, having spent his corporate career in the world of A/V technology, felt that there was a greater story waiting.


Brad was introduced to the world of Boudoir Photography and he immediately fell in love with the empowering mission and message behind boudoir photography.


Being immersed in this world and seeing the life-changing effects it had on women helped to reveal his true calling—creating space for women to see themselves in a light they normally don't get to see themselves in.


Brad realized this work was his life's purpose, so he left my AV tech career to pursue boudoir photography full-time. Witnessing the incredible transformations in his clients confirmed he had found his purpose.


Two years later, while working as a women's empowerment photographer, Brad had another epiphany: I need to broaden my impact by creating a podcast.


When Covid-19 hit in March 2020 rendering Brads business in-operable, he saw an opportunity to be a voice of hope and positivity amidst global fear and negativity and Empowerography was born. Brad's podcast is a platform whose purpose is to Empower. Elevate and Educate by amplifying the voices of women.


Empowerography's mission is to Empower, Elevate, and Educate, showcasing real-life stories of courage, transformation, and inspiration from extraordinary women around the world. Each episode dives deep into the personal and professional journeys of our guests, uncovering the trials they've overcome, the successes they've achieved, and the invaluable lessons they've learned along the way.

    My guest today is Angela Doyle Stuart. Angela Doyle Stuart is an Irish broadcasting journalist, best selling author of her memoir Loving Lisa Stolen Life Stolen Dreams, psychotherapist and activist. Angela's advocacy work with SAVE was instrumental in changing the parole bill in Ireland and has been a voice for those impacted by the murder of a loved one. Angela's sister Lisa was murdered in 2009 and since then Angela has lost her daughter Isla in pregnancy as well as her parents. Angela has built her life on the power of resilience and has given talks and conferences to audiences in Ireland and across the globe. Angela's intentions are always to make the path that bit brighter for others.. In this episode we discuss journalism, storytelling, trauma, loss, grief and SAVE.

    My guest today is Sara Furlong. Sara is a writer, author, story editor and creative director with twenty years of experience. As a graduate of the Radio and Television Arts program from The Toronto Metropolitan University, Sara received her education from the best in the business and has gone on to work as a professional writer in many different aspects of the media industry. As an advertising writer and creative director, Sara has created hundreds of commercials with her company, WhirlyGig Creative Inc. She has been featured as an expert on TV and podcasts and enjoys sharing family travel through the lens of accessibility on her social media platform, Have More Fun. Sara is also a prolific children’s book author. Her “Every Brain is Beautiful” picture book series has been read thousands of times and won several awards. It has remained a top seller on Amazon since its release in July 2023 and has received a favourable Kirkus Review. Also, her middle-grade novel, Do You Know Who Killed Me?, was included in the Canadian Children’s Book Centre’s Best Books for Kids and Teens Fall 2023 edition, and several of her other books have won awards and been bestsellers.
