Acerca de esta escucha

In a province where the amount disabled Albertans receive from AISH is well below the poverty line, the UCP have launched a multi-pronged attack against the stability and security of the disabled in our province.

To get a better grasp of the brutal clawback of federal supports intended to lift up disabled Albertans, the defunding of grassroots support groups and more, we're joined on this episode by disability self advocates Mike, Mary and Kavin as well as the executive director of the now defunded and shuttered Southern Alberta Individualized Planning Association which had been providing educational workshops for people with disabilities!

To donate to the fundraisers Mike mentioned in this episode, you can visit https://www.canadahelps.org/en/pages/light-the-way-for-self-advocacy/ & https://www.gofundme.com/f/save-the-safe

If you're able to support our legal defense fund to fight back against the $6 Million lawsuit against us by Sam Mraiche, the man who imported Vanch masks and the Turkish Tylenot as well as who hosted MLA's and Ministers in his skybox as he had business with the government...
