In this episode of Unexplained America, your host Lisa will discuss the famous cryptid the Jersey Devil; the demon devil of New Jersey.

The origin story of the Jersey Devil goes way back to the Province of New Jersey in 1735, one story begins with a "Mother Leeds" who is pregnant with her thirteenth child and in her frustration and exhaustion prays to God to make this baby a devil...her prayer comes true allegedly and the devil child is said to haunt the area forever....

We will further discuss in the episode all the other stories related to the Jersey Devil or the Leeds Devil. What the devil looks like and what happened to solidify the Jersey Devil in New Jersey in 1909.
