    Today, we speak with Shannon Reinhardt, Executive Director of the Hope Rising Resource Center, a nonprofit organization that offers

    therapeutic services, recovery programs, and resources to all members of our community. Shannon is an amazing person, who brings proven gifts for leadership, communications, and volunteer empowerment to Hope Rising. Shannon has served for 23yrs caring for this community and I am looking forward to learning about how Hope Rising continues to make mental health a priority in Carroll County.



    Our community highlight this week is the Sykesville Art and Wine Festival happening this Saturday, May 3rd from 12pm to 4pm in Downtown Sykesville. Come to Downtown Sykesville to enjoy the best Maryland wineries and vineyards from the Sonoma Valley, Argentina, France, and Italy. More information is available on the CarrollCounty Tourism.org.     Today, we speak with Matti Franzén, Sales Corporate Manager at Best Western Westminster, local artist, and board member of many nonprofit organizations including Habitat for Humanity and Hey Westminster. We learn about Matti’s multicultural upbringing, his inspirations, and what motivates him to help others in Carroll County.


    Our community highlight this week is the Find Your Purpose Easter Egg hunt Saturday, April 19th at 3pm. Come out to Westminster City Park for fun, snacks, activities, and thousands of easter eggs.
